everyone knew this was the deepest draft. Nets got 18 picks from knicks but he decided we gotta get involved to give them back a pick.
the Pacers giving up the 5th pick in this draft for Zubac is a fail I hope the Bulls can knock this pick out of the park…they need some hope, and I’m rooting for their new VP of Basketball Ops Bryson Graham Jazz will surpass us soon if blockhead Stone doesn’t get his sh*t together
Just know you can always trade Battier for the 8th pick. I hated that trade, even tho I loved Battier. I wanted Rudy Gstraight
It would hurt to see the Mavs draft Kingston Flemings. I think he would fit perfectly there and I would hate to root against him.
@ThatboyPhuong is this the last year these rules are in place? Next year…. We deal with the non tank stuff?
Not going to argue that Stone should have known this was a deep draft but again the Nets were not going to tank if they didn't own the draft pick. They would have had a much different pick, probably 10th or 11th behind Milwaukee. There was no way they were going to be worse than legit tanking teams recordwise.
Nike is hilarious. Releasing a Kobe Draft Day shoe pack for all 13 teams who passed him up in the draft. Related to all the teams colors. Haha
Yeah, next year the mid teams are gonna have the best lottery odds while the worst teams barely benefit from tanking anymore lol. So technically, we could be a play-in team and still have a shot at a top pick, while also having the Nets swap and the Suns unprotected pick. Wow!!!
