Blame stone, he sold our future because he thought he had leverage lol And turns out we never even had to make that deal smfh
Sean Marks: I will give you two raisins that may also be mouse turds, for one large juicy grape. Stone: Sold!!! Stone: what are u doing after this? Marks: celebrating Stone: can I come? You seem like a cool guy and I have no friends.
Speeding up the timeline was a mistake the fact we got #2 in the west last year was the beginning of the end.
those 2nd rounders are really gonna pay dividends. Who needs an early 2026 1st when you’ve got two early/mid 2nds. Thank u Cam Whitmore?
We really need the Nets to fail miserably next year. Their roster looks terrible, not sure about cap space.
for the love of god stone keep your 2027 picks this draft might end up being the one where we get the player we need.
Today was a good set of events for the Rockets. The Rockets have a draft swap with the Nets for the 2027 pick. With the Rockets expected to be in the thick of a championship run; meanwhile the Nets in a very real rebuild - well the 2027 pick figures to be a huge improvement for the rockets. And with Kevin Durant getting older, getting a high draft pick comes at the appropriate timing for this group of young players who will be seasoned veterans by then.
I like the way 2027 Draft is shaping up. With NIL money encouraging players to season themselves an extra year and the Nets only getting pick #6 in 2026, our odds are improving. Now we just need PHX to implode and we could have 2 lottery selections. Of course I'm a bit of a contrarian, so when everyone says the draft will suck, I'd prefer to see how the college season plays out and what International prospects may emerge.
Draft Alijah Arenas with '27 BRK pick for potential future 1A scoring option Draft Kiyan Anthony with '27 PHO pick for potential 2A scoring option Trade for Kel'el Ware as rim protector PF/C with '28 and '30 HOU picks
