Then just be honest about it.... it's not about reflection or the future...... A lot of y'all just want Stone and Ime to feel like sh*t.

Read some of the tweets earlier in the thread. Got off of work. Watching one of the recordings now.

I would say it takes a special kind of fandom ignorance to actually look around the league and actually believe that there is not a shred of competence in the FO. Again I get being disappointed and angry, but it's just pure stupidity to think we are one of the bottom teams in the league.

There's a difference between average and/or mediocre vs no competence.

Yup - this is spot on. At some point we have to stop falling for the 'natural development' talking point and actually demonstrate how we are trying to mitigate these long standing problems.

    - we haven't had a primary playmaker since Harden left, @DaDakota is absolutely right to ask - why is our offense still ISO heavy despite the absence of a player like Harden.
    - this team has lacked shooting for years - everyone who comes here seems to shoot worse than where they shot anywhere else - why? Is it the offense, is it the personnel, is it lack of player development - why do we keep having this SAME talking point year after year?

...we have to have media who asks these questions to create accountability into what our coaches and GM say they are doing. Losing year after year in the first round isn't necessarily a call to action - but having the exact same gaps in our roster year after year IS a call to action. You can lose - but you gotta lose in new ways or with new personnel or else you are just doing the same things over and over

Which is why he hides from the media all season long.

Brother, let me be honest with you. I do not care jack s$it how they feel. They make a good living by managing a basketball team.

I’m not in the “shut up and listen” mood. None of the fans should. Whine on the forum? Why not?! Isn’t this the exact platform to do just that? We diagnose the problems however we want. We give suggestions however we see fit. We pay tickets to see the game. We expect to be heard the same way shareholders of a company desire to be heard.

So yeah, I do not like how Stone and Udoka answered to the fans.

They just signed JD, but Tate, Holiday and Jeff Green need to go.

If you read the Ramona Shelburne & Tim MacMahon report on ESPN today, they quote a source high in the Rockets organization:

"We are hyperfocused on our young core. Our five guys have a chance to win a lot of games together for a long time. We don't want to make the mistake other teams have of giving up on guys too soon."

If that's a bluff for trade negotiations, then so be it. But if Stone is drinking that Kool-Aid, then he's low-key r****ded. None of those guys significantly improved this year except for Reed, who could only be better since he wasn't playing last year. And if you're not changing how they're coached, what makes you think they'll show significant improvement next year either? This is the sunk cost fallacy writ large.

Two narcissists patting each other on their backs.

Obviously I'm not expecting them to outright say "Yeah we're making big changes don't get attached to anyone" today, but Stone comes off as very defensive/insecure. No way I expect them to really run this team back and bank on FVV and Adams being healthy as the 'missing pieces'

We're ****ed, if we still have KD, Ime, DFS, Capela and all our young guys + no new coaches then I seriously consider will start to force myself to follow another team or just quit this **** as I said I would. I like the Sixers honestly.

Minor correction but we're more like customers, or potential customers. Fans don't have an ownership stake in the team (unless you're part of the Fertitta family and identify as a fan).

Yeah, these two are dead men walking, neither is any good at their job.

Tillman is whom we should be asking questions, and some of the Houston Press sounds like some Junior High Fan asking questions, so unprofessional.

THE ****ING VIBE????? Fran Blinebury is rolling in his ......wherever he is.

If they said a lot of the things everyone wants them to say, it would be revealing their hand to the league, which like us, knows exactly what this team needs.

I really don’t care what they said today. We need to see action. If they are going to say we lost because we had no FVV, then we need to see them acquire someone to take his place when he goes down. Same for Durant.

If Harden thought Morey was liar, he would have thought these folks are idiots.
