Amen had no trouble bringing it up all game. He also was getting aggressive and playing well with Sengun. Ime chose to take it out of his hands and give it to Reed who was a deer in the headlights all night. The refs also played a part with those jump balls. I wish the NBA would adopt the college rules on jump balls. It’s ridiculous for a 5’10” ref to try and throw up the ball to 7 ft guys. The refs were appraised of the Lakers cheating on the jump balls and still ignored it. Jabari, Tate, and Reed blew this game, but Ime’s late game and OT decisions were pretty bad as well.

 

Oh ye of little faith. The whole team is gonna learn to dribble and shoot by Sunday.

 

Amen was the best player in this game.

I noticed this too. Tari is kicking himself for passing on that deal and it's haunted him all season. Probably bitter against Jabari for getting the deal he wanted.

 

I don't think even if Scott Foster rigs game 4, we will avoid the sweep.

He was also the only Pg on the Rockets. He had 1 turnover, Reed had 5. It was him and Sengun playing a two man game that brought us back into the game. Then overtime comes and Amen doesn’t touch the ball but once. Having Reed ever guard Marcus Smart or bring up the ball against him was idiotic.

 

Yes, I’m defending someone that I said was ass tonight. Stop projecting buddy.

I am not saying Ime is a great coach here. All I am saying is he drew up the play. Reed got the ball. Im pretty sure there was a scenario where Amen was the main focal point, but Reed happened to be the secondary outlet point. Like I said that situation at the end of the game, is on the players. No matter what f'd up rotation he had during the game. We were up by six with less than a minute to go. Whatever coaching adjustments he didnt do or do is irrelevant at that time of the game. What only mattered was 40 something seconds, whatever time was left. We were up by 3.
