The duality of Reed Sheppard

 

One thing you can say about Reed is he can go 0-15 and he'll shoot the next one like he's 15-15.

He has to be better defensively than what he was the last possession, but if he can hit his 3's, that suddenly becomes much less of an issue.

Ime finally not yelling and Reed and encouraging him after they targeted him twice . He should have done this all season

 

Sheppard has his bad moments for sure. But you gotta keep him on the court. The kid doesn’t give up. And even if he doesn’t hit buckets the other team has to commit. It opens up options. It’s a hard problem to solve but I’d rather keep him out there so we’d have the upside than never have a chance.

 

If nothing else in this game I’m glad we ran at least one out of bounds play that resulted in an easy bucket!!

 

He's a center being asked to play like a guard 95% of the time. Not even Jokic is asked to carry that kind of offensive load.
