Do we have to grab their nuts? Is there an option we can protect home court without the nut grabbing?

Play with aggression, enter the paint, move the ball. Pick n rolls, senhub post up. We have the cattle for these bare minimum offensive adjustments. This alone should get W.

Well it was implied they need to grab their own and man up but whatever works I guess

ambiguous nut-grabbing reference at a time when clutch fans crave clarity. reported.

*Sigh* I know this will piss people off but **** it.

Maybe it’s time we reduce Sengun’s minutes?

    My reasoning:

    - DeAndre Ayton does not like contact so we have the opportunity to play Jabari at the 5. We can pull Ayton out of the paint and make their perimeter defenders shaky.

    - We will be able to play fast. The Lakers don’t want to play fast. The team seems stubborn about Sengun needing to be on a slow methodical offense (I disagree).

    - It will clear the elbow, post and dunkers spot. Having two guys in those areas (Amen, KD) is better than three. We should have KD operating at the elbow so that we avoid his turnovers.

    Jabari/Sengun
    Durant/Sengun
    Amen
    Tari/Okogie
    Reed/Amen

I want to be clear that I’m not stating Reed is better. I’m just saying we might need to think about to an emergency matchup problem. We’ve seen no evidence that Sengun can win a one on one matchup offensively. His offense is the only reason we absorb and hide his defense.

At the end of the day if both Reed and Sengun can get you the same 20 meh points, 5 assists and porous defense…. then I’d rather have the bad perimeter defender than the bad rim protector.

I’d rather have the spacing creator than the midrange/post threat. It’s less damaging to the other 4 players on the court.

There's probably more people here that would be in favor of this than not tbh.

I'm not going to pretend that I have any clue whether this is a good or bad idea. But Sengun has looked best this series when he has made strong, fast moves to the rim imo.

I still am trying to understand why so many of his touches come at the top of the key for him to dribble into a help defender and pass it out, nuking 12-14 seconds off the shot clock. Who's idea is this? If we're going to do this, then just ****ing do it with Reed who is way more likely to put points on this board from this action with a screen setter who actually sets a screen.
