Accurate take, but it’s still insane. Amen is closer to Ben Simmons than he is Kawhi. I say that with Amen being my highest prospect and arguably favorite player on this team (yes I’m higher on him than Reed )

• The Gripe has been this for a longer time being now, Defense is the air for this team......without Defense, the game is not close against Contenders.
• You can shoot 3s as much as you want like Reed, and it is only a Shoot-Off.......trading 3s.....without Defense, that is his best or average scenario.
• High variance, if you are cold, then you lose.
• You have Defense, and you install even a decent shooter like NAW who has been tearing the league up......then it becomes something more.

 

He's closer to Ben Simmons, Rodman, Igoudala etc than he is remotely anywhere in the same stratosphere as ****ing LeBron, Giannis, Kawhi or Magic Johnson. Those are absolute top top players, Amen is a great defensive specialist with 3rd/4th option offense, it's ridiculous that they throw all-time names out. Like you say, it's ridiculous to call Reed Curry or Sengun Jokic in just the same way. Pick realistic comps people, god dayum.
