Both my Grandfather and Father were Baylor graduates when it was a Southern Baptist Institution. But then in the late 70's and early 80s, they became prideful and succumbed to a desire for acceptance by Satanic Academia rather than God and became like the University of Texas. The fall was significant. Perhaps this was led by people like McBaylor.
