It's possible that Thunder and Spurs will rest their players in the last two games if the 1-2 seeds are set. If so, Denver can have it easy.
Yeah, Lakers & Nuggets hold tie-breakers over Rockets. Making up 2 games on Nuggets w/ 5 remaining is not beyond realm of possibility, catching Lakers less so. Tie-breaker between Minnesota & Houston will be determined by 4/10 matchup (Hou leads Minn by 2 games). I could certainly see Lakers holding onto 3 w/ us facing Denver
We’ll get a clue on whether we can catch the Lakers after the Dallas game. Lakers lose that game the odds get much better for us and will show how far LeBron and Reeves can carry them.
It will depend on how LeBron can carry the Lakers. LeBron while still can play at a high lever is not the player he used to be anymore. And don't forget he has his injury issues too.

That seeding is the most advantageous for us. Denver at #3 means we face the decimated Lakers. Denver beating Spurs today means the 1-2 seeds will likely be set in the last week of the season and Denver will probably be able to win at least one game against Spurs and Thunder, securing the 3rd seed.
