If the wheels fall off like last year (regarding health), this team is shooting for .500

But if the squad stays relatively healthy as compared to the average MLB team, I think they win 89-92 games.

if the team doesn’t have any significant injuries or IL stints, the team wins 96-98 games.

You heard it hear first. Not looking so good to start and don't see a pitcher fix anytime soon.

    90+ losses.

Crane needs to sell the team or go hire luhnow again.

Ouch. I am wrong a lot everywhere but my posts in this thread are almost embarrassing. On balance the offense is close to on track with my total, but I was way too bullish on Imai, Burrows, and Abreu

Let’s check in on this shall we

Season might just boil down to Burrows and Imai sucking and Correa getting hurt.

Hunter Brown missing about 12 starts didn't help either

eta: Stros have used 13 starting pitchers already this season

Feel good about thinking the AL West was going to be weak. Not feeling so good about thinking Astros might come out on top.

On my hot take about the A's combined runs (for and against) leading the majors, they are up there, but unfortunately, the Astros are higher along with Washington and the Rockies.

Pitching below expectations, partly due to injury and partly due to performance.
Offense is meeting expectations. With Correa out, the lineup is at least 3 bats short. This team remains terrible on the bases and scoring runners.
Defense is good as expected, although it has shown some lapses.

I had the Astros finishing anywhere from 1st to 4th in the division, likely 2nd this year, and that remains a possibility.
