    I'm not sure where you are getting your 80/20 stats. The country is half Democrat and I suspect they are universally opposed. The entire premise of the act is to stop non-citizens from voting. This happens almost ... never. Per the conservative Cato Institute:

    And I'm not sure why Republicans think our government records are so poor that they can't tell if an applicant is a citizen before issuing a voter registration card. Regardless, why put the burden on the general public to provide the government their own records?

    I remember you posting in the D&D last year that the "democratic party was done" and they would implode and never win again lol. Since then democrats have won every special election in the country with a average swing of 20 points to the left lol.

    The 216-215 House vote was to adopt a rule advancing the SAVE America Act for floor consideration, not final passage of the bill. Rep. Massie voted no on the rule but has stated he will vote yes on the bill itself.
