I am thinking about buying the ticket, seeing her and then out. I am also genx and that means I hate corporate events in general, which is what music fests have become.

I currently need some help navigating this dilemma: what should be my silent protest, my brothas.

If you can afford the ticket and are good with the price, just go to see her and then bounce. You're a grown up and you literally can buy a ticket and not even go. It's not even illegal.

That's exactly what the corporate music festival overlords want him to think. That's how they get you.

Shenandoah also jams. Aldean performs well but I can understand someone not wanting to see him.

    Ella should've played the Rodeo.

My personal nightmare scenario would be if I am in the crowd just minding my own and a maga comes and puts her arm around me and says trump forever!!
What the hell am I supposed to do then. Y'all already know I have a soft spot for kellyanne. If some fine looking mega comes up to me I don't know what I'm gonna do.

Ella and Megan are both fire. I love them both. I like them better than Lainey Wilson.

Yep, never heard of her before but I did the same google search

Also, @what: she's playing Austin/Corpus/Ft Worth the 2nd week of August (Thurs/Fri/Sat), why not skip the festival and go to one of her headliner shows? You'd get a longer set and better views.

I didn't even know about the presale. I must not be registered on her site. However, it would have been next to useless as bots buy the tickets before you can get chance to and I refuse to pay scalpers prices.

That's the problem if you want to go to any concert that isn't Lynyrd Skynyrd or Jethro Tull. If you want a modern singer it's highly likely that the tickets will sell out from bots and be 5 times as much.
That's about the only thing I agree with with Kid Rock. Ticketmaster needs to go and the resell market.

Last time I personally went through TM a few years ago (99% of the time someone else is buying tix for the group and I just pay them) but it was for something at the Moody in Austin...ticket was ~$70 and the total fees were ~$65. I had no idea it had gotten that bad.

I did the same search and thought that she looks like Linda Ronstadt in some pictures.

I modified the search and put both of their names together.

Others out there think the same about a resemblance.

I saw the Doobie Brothers open for the Beach Boys at the Music Hall on April 21, 1973. Tickets probably $5. Can't recall the exact amount, but it was in that ballpark. $5 was near the top ticket price at the time.

I saw Pink Floyd at the Music Hall for $3.50 in early September, 1972. It was the second quadraphonic concert in Houston. The first was the Rolling Stones and their "Exile on Main Street" tour at Hofheinz Pavilion on the UH campus, in June of the same year. I saw that one as well. Tickets were $5.50. There were two shows and we went to the 2nd one. They blew the doors off the place, figuratively speaking.

    Ticketmaster is evil.
