Its not like he would get votes from people sympathetic to white nationalists anyway but he was obviously playing politics as if he needed to solidify Black support. I think he had more to lose than gain

I think, at best, you’re being dishonest with yourself. Feeling that a black person was racially motivated to kill someone, with that kind of evidence, doesn’t make you a racist. It happens on both sides. Grade evenly.
