Harden's game 6/7 playoff resume should be mandatory annual watching since people forget them so readily (clippers, spurs, warriors x3). This guy turns into a pumpkin.

He has also now forced his way off of four teams.

He is the ultimate sports Ex girlfriend.

Honestly I don't care about trading Green as much as I care about winning a title.

I just don't believe Harden/Green/Sengun or Harden/Durant/Sengun has even a 1% chance of winning a title. A defense lower than tenth has never in history won a title.

It would have been nice because I'm a green fan but I'm an even bigger harden fan.

I just don't see it working though. It's good he's in a spot where he can win the East. That's the right place for him.

I would too, look at the team he was on? Why would he want to play with that team?

Harden wanting out was the best thing he could do for the franchise. We were cap locked, we had no picks since we traded them for Westbrook, and with Harden we would have been mediocre.

Harden is the reason we've had these top 5 picks year after year...and yeah it sucks we were often a pick away from getting Cade or Wemby or whoever, but him leaving at least gave us a chance to rebuild...and the fact that he's wanted to come back...TWICE...should show he still loves the franchise.

But why should any player want to waste prime years on a team with washed up Wall and Cousins and Christian Wood? I wanted him traded then too because we had spent every bullet in the chamber for those Harden teams, the best move was to trade him for picks and rebuild.

People always say this BS that Harden is going to make X player look worse because he's a ballhog (lol) or some other thing.

It's never happened. Everyone looks better with Harden. He doesn't hog the ball, he moves it. I remember all that noise how he was going to ruin Tyrese Maxey's career or something...how he couldn't fit with CP3...always wrong.

Harden has fit with any team he's played with his whole career.

all due respect.... fk that noise!

dude was under contract - which he signed and was paying him multi-millions!
then hes gonna put on a fat suit and publicly disparage our team? Kill all of our negotiating power? fk him!

evidentially he worked out an amicable understanding w the Clips behind the scenes to get moved... so maybe hes learned something... maybe Morey was being an azz about letting him go... idk...
but dude sat in an interview and ragged on his team and teammates... I'm sorry... thats just a cardinal sin...

    - purposefully quitting on your team (game 6 vs Spurs)
    - publicly criticizing your team and teammates (and not as a motivational tool)
    - trying to intentionally inflict potentially long-term injury to another player...
...those are the cardinal sins as far as im concerned... and james did 2 outta 3...

I think james has made it painfully apparent that james is all about james... regardless of contracts signed or loyalty or any of that...

and thats fine... u do u... but those aint the kinda people that i want in my life or the guys i want to cheer for...

I can understand not wanting Harden considering what it would have taken to get him. What I can't understand and what will always confound me is how in the hell we gave Fred VanVleet a friggin' no trade clause. Even LA regrets Lebron having one. Even with major stars it's a bad idea but is only begrudgingly acceptable with a major star which VanVleet isn't even close to.

Now if you are talking about trading VanVleet and filler and a pick for Harden? That's a no brainer. I don't care his history. It drives me nuts watching us fall apart every game when the other team simply pressures the ball and dares anyone to shoot or create from the perimeter. It's demoralizing for us, the fans, to watch but it's also demoralizing for the team. That's how you get these games where if Durant or Alperen doesn't go crazy, we just fold and quit on the game.

Zubac played the best basketball of his career with James...and is neither of those archetypes.

That is false, he is throwing lobs on PnR's to Zubac all the time. More importantly, the most prolific stretch of the Clippers season was when Zubac got injured. They didn't lose a single game and climbed out of their slump. When Zubac came back, they reduced his post touches and kept Lopez's minutes high. Then of course they dumped Zubac.

thats what james wanted... and Morey catered to his every whim...
Harden is a narcissist and Morey was his enabler... and we know how that relationship ended - ugly and publicly the second james didnt get his way...

james is like a pretty girl... sure everybody wants a piece... but once youve seen the crazy firsthand... u should realize that it aint worth the headaches... lol

Some guys are respectable and positive influences... they will have careers even after their skills diminish (uncle jeff)... maybe they go into coaching... and then there are selfish players like james...

All these years of evidence to the contrary of their completely biased beliefs and people still hold on to these false narratives.

    That's not a no brainer.

    As was said,

    Harden is...
    an all-time great player
    an all-time great quitter
    an all-time great choker

James Harden is like letting kids lose in a candy store as their dinner. Tastes great for a minute but you know how this is going to end. ...and then he walks out the door like a Hollywood actor in slow motion with a ball of flames behind him.

Is Harden "better" than FVV. Maybe but FVV can sleep easy at night with ring.

I didn’t know this till recently too, but the no trade clause is automatic with FVV structuring , the rockets didn’t give it to him.

They did give him superstar money though lmao
