Ukraine thinks that they can get the KIAs / month up to 50,000 in 2026 ... 600,000 for the entire year. For perspective, the Russians have had about 1.2 million casualties in the first four years of the war ... with maybe 400,000 KIAs (1 kill per 3 casualties). I previously had not thought that the Ukraines could win the Ukraine Russian War on their own terms, with the likely outcome being a negotiated peace ceding land to Russia. Now I am not so sure. Ukraine might be able to dictate some of the terms of a peace deal. We will see.
