I genuinely cannot fathom why people think Stone will be fired. He is literally a shield for lil Patty Fertitta currently. He'll be recused of his position in a few years and then Tilman will put his incompetent son in the position and this franchise will go down the drain even more than it already was when Tilman took over. It's almost like the red flags weren't on the wall already when Morey immediately bailed when he heard lil Patty was being forced into the front office the minute Tilman took ownership of the franchise.

You are even missing even more deals like signing Adams to a cheap contract, getting KD to take a massive paycut, the Harden trade, the Tari and Sengun drafts, Amen draft, the Suns trade etc Eric Gordon at most will get you a non lottery frp. Instead we got a 2nd for him. Why are you losing your **** over that? The three guys Stone dumped turned out to be busts and couldnt even get any PT on any team. Its like you decided Stone was arrogant first and then made mountains out of molehills. Here I will tell you Stones biggest mistakes the biggest one so far is giving FVV a 25M contract when no other contender had any capspace and he for sure wont sign with a lotto team. This contract was not only an overpayment but also gave FVV an implied no trade clause which now limited Rox from making moves to improve the team. The other big mistake is signing DFS, the Rox waited half a season for him and got a one dimensional non defender non shooter. The final big mistake was taking Reed at 3, why did we take a 6'1 SG as a top 3 pick, these guys are pretty common to begin with. Now Reed is even struggling to shoot from 3 which was supposed to be his calling card.
I’m not defending anything i don’t think he’s good, just there was nothing he could do other than throw assets into the trash.
I dont think fred is a long term player but they view him as a long term player. I dont even think the suns frp is going to be that good. He had some assets to play with.
