no bro... thats integrity over the desire to 'win at any cost'... its a shame that its becoming more and more rare... but hey... if you'd be happy cheering for a team of child molesters, rapists and azzholes if they could get u a chip... u do u... lol its about realizing that its a game... and u watch for enjoyment... not some warped need to feel like a winner at any cost... Watching Hakeem and Clyde win a chip was far more rewarding for me than if Hard-on had done so...
This clown just compared Harden to “child molesters, rapists, and azzholes”. It’s funny how hate causes some to lose any and all semblance of an IQ.
not what im saying, man... im just saying that there is a line - up to each of us where we draw that line... i mention the rapista, child molesters, etc bc dude seems like a 'win at any cost' mindset... just saying there is a line - or at least there should be... i have presented an extreme strawman argument to illustrate a philosophical/moral debate regarding the desire to win at what price...
We have a team that would have been perfect for Harden. Plenty of athletic defenders, KD to take the high pressure shots, lob threats. But it’s all good though we don’t need Harden since we have FVV’s fat injured ass on the bench.
I wonder if he regrets how he left. It’s clearly about money to him now. Houston tried to keep him by offering him more money before he left
This is what I was thinking - I know Rockets making no moves (not even smaller incremental moves) is disappointing but I still put it over making bad moves. Bad move < doing nothing < Good move. Trading for Harden would've been a bad move so at least that's that. This season is just so sad and disappointing. Could've really done something but FVV out for the season was always gonna be something hard to overcome. We need like, just one more stroke of genius of a move organizationally to get to the next level.
Im surprised he had enough time to talk abour Harden considering he is usually too busy with his tongue in Lebron James' anus to talk about anything else.
After we having KD, I realize how great Harden is. KD is good, but still not as good as Harden who can do everything on the court. Harden deserves much more credits. Our young guys won't get the half levels of Harden.
my only question is where would the matching salary have come from? If he were a buyout - but he was not.
I see what you’re saying. But it’s also important to remember we had the pleasure of Prime Harden and this isn’t the prime Durant. We’re getting/wasting elite production dealing with Ime. I wish we had Adelman or D’Antoni.
I don't get why anyone wishes we signed Harden. F*ck that. The dude had so much talent, yet so much toxicity and laziness that was infuriating. He had to be the hero and drove off star after star from the team even when they were friends for years! He'd show up to training camp fat and out of shape, and get lazy as hell defensively when we needed him to shine. Ball hog, ball hog, ball hog. I hated him and loved him both, but when he drove off Chris Paul, and then sat his sorry ass out wanting a trade after everyone else good was gone I was disgusted. Nope. Screw that. I'm glad he isn't back in Houston.
Dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble….flail
Lol first of all, I didn't say I WANTED to trade Amen, I said that if you have Giannis him and Giannis won't work. Secondly, you fake fans can go, no one is forcing yall to be a fan of this team. I'm a fan of the Rockets. Period. If Amen is traded I no longer root for him, it's really that simple. I root for whatever helps the team, IDGAF about what some fake fan think all while trashing the city. You know what the Rockets would be without Amen? The Houston Rockets.
I don't get why our guys all playing like shiit. A fat Harden is still vastly better than our players.
If our goal is elite offense + not giving a damn about defense, we can just start Reed instead of Tari/Bari and keep our assets. Starting Harden, Sengun and Durant means you can't ever achieve a top 10 defense so a title is not possible even if you're the #1 offense. If we're ok with that, why in the F would we do it with a declining player that costs us assets rather than a developing player we already have??? Get your nostalgia under control. It's just a stupid idea.
