I'm glad to hear they are pursuing a prosecution. But the only support for this being the democrats' fault is a single quote from First Assistant United States Attorney Bill Essayli saying so. That is Essayli's title because he was appointed US Attorney by Trump but the Senate would not confirm him, so he was the Acting US Attorney for 4 months and thereafter disqualified from operating with that title, but Trump still will not nominate someone acceptable. Because he operates in California, Essayli is a useful vassal who can use the office to try to make Newsom look bad, as he attempts to do here. His criticism of Newsom and the California government, in addition to being hyperbolic (vetting and oversight were not "zero"), is unprofessional for a federal prosecutor and a violation of the oft-cited but completely ineffective Hatch Act. He is there as a political hatchet man and you're just nodding along.

I don't understand what you're even proposing here. You like neither NGOs nor government bureaucrats, so you think billions of dollars should be managed by children who haven't even finished an accounting (hopefully) degree? What are you on?
