They were going at it last game too...going to side with Jabari here (and anyone knows how rare that is for me to do or how bad things would have to be)

For all the **** we throw Jabari at least he comes out with heart

 

I dunno what's happened to the Sengun that liked being coached hard. He doesn't seem to be responding to getting cooked by KD on a regular basis



Was told before the season by someone who lived the KD experience in OKC that he was going to come in and kill our chemstry and I didn't believe them. Looks like that ******* was right.

 

You know me, I'm not one to defend Udoka. I still want him gone...

But what is he supposed to do when Senguin openly quits on the team like that?

 

The Rockets played like garbage any time VanVleet missed games last year and couldn’t even execute simple inbounds plays. They got swept by the tanking Nets and lost to the tanking Raptors at home without VanVleet. VanVleet was also their best player in the Warriors’ series. Furthermore, the Rockets wouldn’t be going anywhere when it matters unless either Sengun or Thompson developed into an All-NBA caliber player. That’s still the case today because neither has developed a reliable perimeter shot.

Things would be much worse this season with Green and Brooks still here and no VanVleet.

Sengun and Thompson need to get their asses in the gym and fix their perimeter shooting issues if the Rockets want to be a legit contender. If they can’t or won’t, it’s time to trade them for a superstar like Giannis.

 

You could see miles away that Jabari and Sengoon are no real friends, they just Photo Op- friends.

Jabari is just so poor athletically, poor handles, stiff like forward, yes, he is tall, streaky shooting, can defend a little.

 

The front office, head coach, fans and players agree: chunky monkey is our franchise player. How much should we pay him on his next deal? 60M/year?

How about we blame Alperen Sengun for giving **** effort on defense? That’s on him, not Kevin Durant. It’s also on Ime Udoka for not benching his ass in the first half when he was playing defense like his feet were stuck in cement.

 

Celtics and Hornets were missing players too. Rockets were home. These games showed Rockets are CF ineligible this year.. and might lose 1st round.

Rockets are now 0.5 game from the 7th seed.

When you half ass it like Sengun did tonight, you deserve to get called out. I’d have preferred Ime benched him at half time instead of calling him out to the media, though.

 

Sheppard has been terrible. Absolutely terrible last 8 games. Thompson inconsistent and just can’t finish at the rim. Sengun up and down. This team isn’t it.

 

Have y’all seen Fred on the bench? He looks like he has a dad bod right now

can’t believe the way this organization talks about him…like he’s a legend with 5 championships coming to rescue a damsel in distress

 

That trade was still the move to make. It opened two doors to today and the future. It’s tough to make it in the league when DFS, Adams and FVV are not going.

 

KD is a Beta male, it has been well documented over decades now, he deferred to Westbrook when he was 25....yes 24.

Sengün having a bad defensive year does not help. Ankle, bad back, shoulder, cocky, someone took a dump in his head, uncharacteristic machismo behavior whatever issues.

The bigger problems are Stone and Udoka who are one trick ponies.......they don't see the larger picture, or they would not admit it.
