Yep.

Team needs to get more athletic if anything.

DFS is slow, is constantly defending no one, can't hit his shots, can't challenge players vertically.
Okogie is okay, bench player, he doesn't deserve cemented minutes like he's an all-star player

I honestly think the main issue is the coach, I think Reed CAN play PG, but do we expect him to? We do this PG by committee crap. I'd bet my house if you had MDA here for a year, Reed would be a starting level PG. Why? We'd practice with him as that day in and day out, he'd get the reps, he'd get the expectation. If MDA made Lin look like an all-star PG...

I'm not saying hire MDA but I am saying that the mentality of this team is cooked. It's get KD the ball all the time, let KD carry, all the time. We even see it with those wacky lineups where Ime puts 4 defenders around KD like the expectation is to just have KD carry the entire offense. Which would be fine if KD was 26 and still in his prime, but this ain't gonna work.

It's why I said we trade for a PG so what? Offense won't change lol, if we really wanted to play a PG so bad we'd put Holiday, JD, Reed in that role and hope for the best. We don't because THIS IS IME'S offense.

He's Thibs, he's JVG.

He puts it all on his best players and hopes the team figures it out.

What a LATE call

 

I think the team misses the positive vibes Brooks and Jalen gave us.

Durant gets frustrated (understandably so) and the vibes as a team are off (maybe a result).

Brooks brushed everything off and moved forward and was the ultimate grit and grind teammate to always have your back.

Jalen was just as frustrating to watch as this team but he tried and stayed engaged and positive, even on the bench.

Meanwhile, everyone just throws there hands in the air and seemingly try to blame each other for lapses this year.

 

Wow, Sengun finally gave effort on defense. It was a foul, but still.

 

Was Jalen Green’s inconsistency the reason Sengun ended up looking like an All-Star?

 

LOL Sengun didn’t get to half court. Too busy calling the ref a b**** again. I’d be willing to bet he’s the #1 problem with this team.
