When we got KD all I heard from you idiots is that it would make us this unstoppable contending force. now its "he sells tickets" lol you guys are sell outs.
We can still get a point guard.......................................................... We were always targeting the buy-out market
There is one way, and only one way, the Rockets can turn this season around with what they have. They need to "help" other teams lose their star players. They should still be playing every relevant team at least once between now and the end of the season. Anyone else see this opportunity? Anyone? Just me then? F y'all !
You know what fixes that is the euforia of having the first piick in the upcoming strongest draft in 20 years. Oh wait, just found out he gave away our unprotected Nets pick.
Hmm I see your point but I think we can compete if actually have been able to grab a good point guard while shedding dead weight contracts. I might be wrong and happy to hear your thoughts here but I think switching back Amen to off-ball might benefit us better vs being the de facto point guard. I also think that Reed is great but not great enough to be handed the point guard duties yet.
The worst part about that statement is that with finding out he has zero basketball knowledge is that he definitely seems to have extended Ime so he doesn’t need to make the decisions. In other words, ironically he doesn’t have the stones!
Yeah, when you are trying to win a championship every player matters. I'd bet anything that if OKC lost Hartenstein they too would not win a championship. Championships are won on the margins, the difference between elite teams are so thin, losing FVV and Adams definitely was a massive blow to those chances. One could argue those two would not make us a championship team but then it is even less so without them. It's just the reality of the situation
Yeah good if you have enough salary space to work with......................... Something that some of you can't wrap your brain around
Are you singling me out? Because I don't remember saying that we will be an unstoppable contending force. I usually reserve judgment until I see us beating contenders
I honestly just don't think the PGs out there were good enough to help, I'd say they were worse than FVV, outside of Harden of course. Might it help team balance, sure, it might...but I don't think it gets us past OKC or Denver so to me I ask what is even the point? I also think most of the board would be whining if we got a new PG and Reed had his minutes slashed. I'd honestly would rather just give Reed as much PT as possible and invest in his development then acquire any of the guys that were traded today. I do think we need guard depth though for sure as it really is just Holiday but that can be done on the buyout market but either way the team is still 2nd round exit at best.
