I'll wait until after the deadline first, but it's looking more and more like unless Stone is working on something in total secrecy and it bears fruit, the Rockets are going to be on the mediocrity train for the next couple of years. Adams, FVV, DFS, Capela aren't at ages where they would come back from major injuries unscathed. KD will be older and can drop off at any time. Amen hasn't shot in 3 years so it's becoming bleak if he can do it in the next couple of years. And Reed while having lots of potential also has major issues with size and defense that may never resolve. The future is definitely looking bleak short of some major advancement by one of our young players.
Two guys I'd still have my eye would be Jose Alvarado (but New Orleans seems delusional so maybe he stays put as a valuable rotation piece for them) and Scotty Pippen Jr (he's about to return from injury, hard to say how he'll fare coming off a long injury absence). Maybe there's somebody else out there I'm not thinking of at the moment.
Again you are only judging by results. All you can do is ring and offer something. You don't know what the front office is doing unless you are in it.
