I'm ok with any outcome the allows me to continue calling Scott Foster a b****.

We should all agree on this. He yells when he tries a layup, "heyyyyyyyyyyyyy". He never commits a foul.............in his eyes

 

My biggest worry with him honestly. Not the complaining itself, the mentality it shows. Hard to work on your game effectively when you never make mistakes and it's always somebody else's fault.

 

This was the silver lining in the game.

Sengun is an immensely gifted offensive old school big, but this is just another piece of the equation that leads me to the conclusion that there's real maturity issues with him.

The guy whines on nearly EVER DAMN play. He insists on bringing the ball up to court for some weird reason instead of hustling back into the play to get into position. He has to be hidden on defense by being put on the worst offensive player, or have to incorporate a zone.... then this boneheaded moment. Like what a stupid thing to say especially on female in sports night. Like how freaking dumb are you?

Not saying I want to trade him for a box of rocks, but I have had questions about him that become more valid over time. Especially on the court where in the NBA you HAVE TO be able to shoot, and defend, and if you cannot do one or the other, you need to be ELITE on the other end.

We see too with this team that even if you are an ELITE mid-range, and low post scorer, in the modern NBA the other team can just have one single spurt where they peel off 3's and get hot enough to still beat you when you are damn near dominant from 2.

I just don't know if in the 2026 NBA a championship formula is basing your team around a guy who only scores and passes in the post, has to play center because he cannot shoot, and an elite mid range shooter who is nearing 40 years old.... then you add in character issues with that young cornerstone player, and you are looking at a formula to be another Memphis or Sacramento type of rebuild that is VERY short run.
