2025 playoffs happened 8 months ago https://www.basketball-reference.co...nference-first-round-warriors-vs-rockets.html
Nah that was the 2024 season. The most recent draft was called the 2025 NBA draft you think playoffs happen before the draft? The reality is you just made a stupid mistake insisting last year's playoffs somehow applies to the current team.
They've lost to every western conference lottery team except Memphis, and they lose in the same way as they do the contenders, stretches of turnovers, bad shots and poor clock management. They've given up double digit leads to lose on multiple occasions, mainly because they struggle to execute on offense. They really lack a single player that has the point guard skill set. Yeah, they can be competitive .... and lose a playoff series.
I want him off my team already. He was suppose to be a bridge and I’m ready to be over it. All these years of a rebuilding and our off season hype is about to be a returning 33yr old FVV and 38yr old KD. Breaks my heart truly
The hilarious thing about this tweet is that the guy he quotes only tweets ridiculously Rockets biased posts. So the fact that he retweeted this just shows how little he actually engages with Rockets twitter in general.
Find any news outlet that called the last season playoffs the 2024 playoffs and I will admit to my mistake
Ninja got the franchise cuffed Not playing, can’t be traded and everyone gassing him up as the missing piece hahahaha
I mean can you find anyone connected to the NBA who agrees with you? Cause I can open any espn article on last year's playoffs and they all say its the 2025 playoffs.
Regardless what year it is called why are you using the team with Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and FVV to judge the current Rockets team with Kevin Durant? So based on how last year's team played in the playoffs you are now insisting this year's team is not a top tier team? Is this really the hill you want to die on?
Just to show it wasn't hindsight, here's a post I made last May about a backup plan in case .... FVV goes down or Amen / Reed aren't ready.
I find it funny how folks are so down on this team. They are one of the best teams in the league. You'd think they are a lottery team. As the cliche goes, you have first world problems.
Fred Vanvleet (and Stone/Ime signing him) has single-handedly destroyed this team and any possible opportunity for it to improve. And this clown has the GALL to tell Kevin Durant, who has played with Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Russell Westbrook, that he's never played with a "point guard like me". What an absolute f*cking delusional clown. He may be right though, I guess KD has never played with a point guard that shot 37 percent from the field like Fred did last year.
Gotta say, the minutes I saw with Jerome did not look good. Stats show he's been amazing since he was back. Still not certain getting a backup PG helps much, even if it was Jerome and he wasn't hurt most of the year. The Rockets likely need a starter that can handle backup PG role as well as beefing up the starting lineup. I really though this was going to be Reed a little over a month ago. This month has been bad for him. On starter, Amen as a PG, SG, or other is fine with me as long as the Rockets address his problem of lack of shooting as well as another playmaker.
