Why would anyone pay a hefty price for

• an expiring (means you gotta pay him amidst an already expensive payroll, means Tari needs to be out)
• a player that’s ALSO hurt a loooot (calf issue)
• Way leeeeesss impactful despite some big numbers (than Tari who is inevitably going out if we’d trade for White)
• Does NOT defend (have we not got enough of Ime treatment yet)
• Requires additional pick assets (based on the return)

Mourning an undone trade that was actually in our favor is the most Clutchfans behavior

 

Tari is shooting 49% from three why would we trade him for white?

Trades are flying off the shelf with PGs being moved around the league and Stone can't even secure a single one. Typical flop of a trade deadline coming for the Rockets again. I guess we really just traded KD for nothing, might as well just kept Brooks. We got worse from this trade and the Suns got better.

Really disappointing from Stone and the front office but I guess that's nothing new since we're just playing for 2nd place in the West.

 

I'm actually excited by this news. I was afraid Stone might do it.

Price is wrong. In five years you would be the same person complaining about talent and picks lost for a useless rental. Complainers complain. No point to facilitate a trade for them.

We've been playing with an incomplete team all year. Durant needs the pieces around him. FVV's injury hurt a lot. In addition to missing his presence, it led to Amen playing out of position, preventing him from what he does best. Gotta roll with it though...I Ching.

We're not sacrificing everything down the road for this year. That said, the tradeline is tomorrow, not today. So, my suggestion to many is to quit whining, and let it all shake out.

We were never going after C.White.

He never addressed a need for security as a PG facilitator who knows how to get the ball to Alpi and KD.

It reminds me of how we had certain guys (Horry included) who knew how to get the ball to Hakeem. Hell, Matt Maloney did a decent job, as did my guy Cuttino with Chuck .

Everything I'm hearing is still there...a small move for a of and a big. There's just one outlandish deal that I'm hoping happens but seems to be chatter.

As for the Greek Freak, he's healing and has said he likes San Antonio the most. He could easily sit out the rest of the season with the Bucks dying with their decision to pay Miles so much money for 12 ppg and an inability to rebound or dominate at his own position.

If Stone pulled the trigger on letting Alpi go for GA, Kevin would not be happy, nor would Amen.
