No, this teams has its problems but our gm doesn’t have the balls to do a trade to try to fix some of our issues we just calling it like we see it
If our GM does not make a trade that you deem good enough to fix our issues then it is because he lacks balls. Got it. Totally reasonable and based on a knowledgeable understanding of trade discussions, contracts, the salary cap rules, etc. Disproving my point about the (lack of) quality of discourse.
I am so cognitively challenged. Yesterday wasn’t Thursday? Today isn’t, either? Yet NBA GMs are out swapping like it’s 2:55 pm 2/6? I am so confused…
To me, the way KD is playing and knowing how they played RECENTLY against OKC and S.A, is more reasons why you seek a trade, because the window is now or the KD trade is in vain. KD has playing a lot of minutes and we do not know the SHELF LIFE on older players, he may not be this good next yr
LOL @ thinking going for KD was somehow our owner going all in. That was an investment and garnered so much more attention and generating way more money for the foreseeable future than Green and Brooks ever would.
Correction: Our GM makes bad trades and no worthy deadline deals. Jalen, Dillon, 5 seconds, and a top 10 lottery pick for a 37 year old and our team is more offensively challenged is not success. Also, that moron traded away the likely very first pick in this year’s draft (Brooklyn) so that we have no picks at all in the first round. This is supposed to be strongest draft in years. Never ever ever trade a Brooklyn unprotected first round pick. He’s a lawyer….not a GM!
Good luck! https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/02/03/chicago-bulls-trade-nikola-vucevic-acquire-jaden-ivey/ “The Bulls front office is continuing to target Coby White as a blue-chip trade asset to leverage contending teams in the Western Conference out of trade picks or young talent.”
Chicago Depth Chart PG: Josh Giddey, Simons, Tre Jones, Mike Conley SG: Coby White, Jaden Ivey, Ayo Dosunmu SF: Isaac Okoro, Dalen Terry, Julian Phillips PF: Matas Buzelis, Patrick Williams C: Jalen Smith, Lachlan Olbrich, Zach Collins I have no idea what they are doing with all these guards. Conley feels like a guaranteed buyout candidate. White, Jones and Ayo would all be great young players to target.
You can always tell who the fake NBA insiders are when in their "reports" they always note a supposed sticking point in order to give themselves an out when it doesn't happen.
First off, Brooklyn wasn't rebuilding unless we made that deal. And, while I agree we overpaid for KD, wouldn't you agree that KD isn't your standard 37 yr old? He obviously adjusted his game, his workout regimen, availed himself of modern medicine, and has insane genes. The guy's game is aging like fine wine..certainly the exception to the rule. If the Rockets were so inclined, they could get back the equivalent of what we gave up right now. (which likely isn't happening) We just don't have the right pieces at present around him. FVV's unfortunate injury really put us in a bind. That said, adding a guard at the deadline that doesn't break the bank (filler + a 1st) should definitely be a priority. Also, a center that's bought out. All that said, Reed still needs to get plenty of minutes to continue to develop.
NOW it must by 2/5 2:55 pm, no? NO? Then what’s with all these ‘early’ deals? GMs don’t work this way❓❓❓
LMAO Just in: The Chicago Bulls are trading Coby White and Mike Conley Jr. to the Charlotte Hornets for Collin Sexton, Ousmane Dieng and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. https://bsky.app/profile/shamsbot.bsky.social/post/3me2nvdfnbc2g
All week: Rockets, wolves in the mix for White. Suddenly he goes to Charlotte which was never rumored at all. Rumors ain't ****
