It's garbage. Nobody believes any of this anymore. Stroud just works with his garbage management. That's it. Represented by the same idiot who manages Deshaun and we see where he is playing wise

Maybe Aaron and Ingram’s agent are cool and he’s trying to make sure his guy gets paid. Ingram made about $3.4M last season in what was essentially his first productive year (he was awful in Minnesota), and now the Texans are supposedly expected to pay 5× that after one good season, **** that!

Doubling it to $7M or going up to around $8-10M makes sense. That would put him in the Ezra Cleveland / Jon Runyan range, which is about where his skill set actually is. Paying $15M after one good season feels like peak Bill O’Brien overpaying Nick Martin.

Like I said before, I think BDN has a price point of $10 - $12M APY for Ingram. Any more than that and his mindset is probably what's the comp pick look like (especially in a good draft).

I think we pick up Cade as OC, a solid vet IOL (Paul?) for $4 - $7M plus draft a top IOL.

    1) Interesting, the expert evaluators here insist the Texans had no talent on the OL.

    2) Those same expert cap manager/roster builders will likely claim this would be a massive overpay while in the same breath blast the Texans for being “cheap” on the OL, seemingly preferring an unorthodox Buy High approach to talent acquisition.

Actually Ingram was a bright spot. The problem with the Texans is that you have a BAD center and have to play Howard at guard, instead a natural guard.

If he turns out to be Kenyon Green they wont be pissed, which outcome do you think is more likely? With Ingram the Texans has short ydge/GL issues. Let's upgrade.

    Great post.

The Texans OL wasn't as bad as some around here would like you to believe it was.

    Howard was an avg LG.

The C position as well as the LG position need to be upgraded.

From that question I would say closer to Brooks since Green can’t make a roster. Not sure I would want to give him 15m after one solid year so I understand both sides.
