There are only two things that need to be said about this (although there is more): Sam Darnold and JJ McCarthy
I'm honestly surprised he lasted the season but once Sam Darnold made the superbowl he should've known it was a wrap
And thanks to Steve Tisch, he's only the 2nd worst NFL owner in NYC. I think its very clear the Jets are going to be a tough place to win as long as Woody is there.
How did Flacco and Sanders end up in the pro-bowl? I get that some people are injured/etc, but there's lots of middle-tier guys who at least played a whole season. Were these guys better than Stroud, Lawrence, Rodgers, etc? Even Cam Ward at least played the full year.
They asked Stroud to be one of the alternates and Stroud said "no" Sanders is hilarious, I do love that Flacco finally gets some love somehow
Flacco as a starter this year: 2-8, 79.2 passer rating, Pro Bowl Texans traded down in the 2008 draft...Flacco went 18th with our pick, we took Duane Brown later in the 1st (28th?), that was a hell of a pick Now that I'm looking at it: that may be the worst 1st Round in the history of the NFL Draft
This year's 3 AFC pro-bowl quarterbacks combined for 26 starts and went 10-16 for the 5-12 Browns and 6-11 Bengals.
What's even more fun is looking at the rando SB-losing QBs over the past decades: Craig Morton David Woodley Stan Humphries Chris Chandler Tony Eason Vince Feragamo Neil O'Donnell Kerry Collins Jake Delhomme Rex Grossman Matt Hasselbeck Jimmy Garopolo Brock Purdy
