Trump Threatens to Sue Michael Wolff for Epstein ‘Conspiracy’

President Donald Trump has threatened to sue the journalist Michael Wolff, accusing the author of “conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein” to harm him.

The president issued the threat on Air Force One a day after a fresh tranche of Epstein files was published, revealing that multiple women made allegations of sexual abuse by Trump to the FBI, which he denies.

Trump, 79, vented to reporters about Epstein “conspiring” as he flew from Washington D.C. to his Palm Beach home at Mar-a-Lago, wearing a tuxedo after attending a secretive elitist gathering.

“He was conspiring with Wolff to do harm to me politically,” Trump said. “That’s not a friend.” He added, “So we’ll probably sue Wolff on that.”

However, Wolff, the co-host of hit Daily Beast podcast Inside Trump’s Head, is already involved in litigation with the Trump family. He is suing Melania Trump under laws designed to protect free speech after she threatened him with a $1 billion lawsuit for speaking about her ties to Epstein.

In response to the latest Trump threat, Wolff told the Beast, “This is the third or fourth time the Trumps have threatened to sue me. So far this has only resulted in me suing them. So, bring it on. Let’s sue each other. I have nothing to hide, but the Trumps surely do.”

Wolff also hit back at the president in an Instagram video, in which he confirmed that he “tried to encourage Jeffrey Epstein in any way I knew how to come forward with what he knew about Donald Trump.”

He reiterated that he had “nothing to hide” and noted that his lawsuit against Melania gives him subpoena powers to question the Trumps under oath about their relationship with Epstein.

“I believe that if the American public knew the real nature of Donald Trump’s long relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, they would turn away in horror and revulsion,” he said in the video.

I know Jorge's on top of all this, but reading this exchange between Trump confidante Steve Bannon and Trump best friend Jeffery Epstein is troubling. It does not seem that Epstein is exactly in line with Democratic Party beliefs.

 

Epstein hated Trump after Trump cut him off in like 2003. Yet you lie about being "best friends". You are simply not credible. You aren't keeping up -- and I get why... because Democrats are implicated right and left -- including modern figures. What a boomerang to the face this has been for the liberals!

Bannon has also been ostracized.

The Test.

Trump tested the loyalty of whether his loyalists in the DOJ were more than willing to lie, and coverup for him, along with other "powerful & wealthy" pedo friends of his who knew for years what was happening. Whether they hung out with him where the youngsters were present on yachts, the parties in NY, Florida, his ranch, or years later on Epstein Island, they still kept coming back for a good time. So many lies have been spewed, and so many reports were never followed through with for decades.

Even Epstein's first conviction was a slap on the wrist for his vile criminal acts. We all know Trump was one of those "buddies" back in the day during it all, and Melania and Ghislaine were more than casual acquaintances. The DOJ knows that too. I can't help but wonder who is bribing or blackmailing Trump to keep their names from coming forward too, and why the government keeps protecting them.

His DOJ passed that test of loyalty. What's next?
Let me give you a hint in Trump's own words....

“The Republicans should say, ‘We want to take over,’” he said. “We should take over the voting, the voting in at least many — 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting.”

Nationalize the Elections and make sure Trump or his chosen successor gets the win, at all cost. Gee, and MAGA folks scoffed at people saying Trump wants to be like leaders in Dictatorships and Authoritarian regimes.

 

Having used the internet for the first time I think in 1992. You are the biggest clown I have come across in all those years and I doubt I’ll ever encounter a bigger one. I have zero respect for you in any regard. I doubt you would even be worth having a beer with.

 

Trying cover for this when you don’t know anything other than what has been released so far is actually evil. All of these people hurt young woman. Absolutely gross.

 

My point is simple: the DOJ must act independently of the President. Yes, presidents can make suggestions, Congress can demand action, and the public can too, but the DOJ's independence is what separates us from autocracy.

If we justify presidential control of the DOJ when we believe crimes occurred, we hand that same power to every president. Trump himself claims his prosecutions are political persecution. Your justification becomes his justification. That's the door you open.

You don't know how much I want to agree with you. But if I abandon this principle because I'm angry about what happened, what's left to protect? I know many want to tear the system down and rebuild, but no one's presented a realistic path for that. Reform (strong, significant reform) is still our best shot. Some edges can be pushed, but turning the DOJ into a presidential weapon? That's what happens in Russia, where political rivals get prosecuted on command. I'm not willing to go there, even for people I believe deserve accountability.

they were indeed best friends for years. and trumps story of the alleged fallout has changed. he has claimed it was over a real estate deal and he has also claimed it was b/c epstein "stole" a girl from him. trump is the one who used that term..."stole". as if he owned this girl and epstein took her from him. he has also claimed it was b/c epstein sexually harassed the daughter of one of his club members. and the years these happened have also changed. trump has clearly not been consistent with the reasons for this alleged fallout and when it happened. he has said anywhere from 2004 to 2007.

It's pretty clear from the new document drop that Melania was indeed "broken in" by Jeffrey before she was palmed off on Donald.

Trump's threatened to sue Wolff for "a billion dollars" over that accusation several times, and all the evidence points to it being 100% true.

Acting outraged and making a bunch of noise about it being false and suing is nothing but cover for the people that prefer Donald's story to feel at ease in their beliefs. It's entirely 100% performative.
