hobbling on that knee I just noticed it @Bobbythegreat pointed it out a couple of gmaes ago Dude just needs to sit at this point
there was a play he handed it off as soon as he got it and hobbled. He's been really really slow and won't run down fast breaks like he used to. He's already laterally slow, if dude is having to ice his knees constantly in the game shouldn just rest
Why is he still playing if he is injured? He isnt contributing anything he gets destroyed on D and shoots blanks on O. Just sit him down Ime smh.
He is falling into the Ryan Anderson - Eric Gordon habit of shooting from way too far behind 3pt line… vs taking one dribble and pulling up from a more comfortable range …
I think he’s been injured the last few games. Tendinitis maybe? It’s definitely affecting his shot. He didn’t forget how to shoot.
I don’t know what’s wrong with him but he was missing all kinds of threes during warm ups before the second half today and 2 years ago I watched him hit like every warm up shot he took before and at halftime. This is my first time seeing him live since he became a rocket and it was weird to see.. and it isn’t a further distance cause he was shooting nba distance 3s in warm ups at UK. this felt rough for him playing nembhard but he did okay against Furby (as my brother called Furphy) and Nesmith - not great but okay. I’ll have to rewatch when the game comes available on LP for me and see if I see anything differently than live
Reed is getting a lot more attention now, it will take him time to figure out how to beat that - this is essentially his rookie year as Ime didn't play him last year much at all. Now that teams know he is a shooter they put a good defender on him, now it is up to Reed to adjust, and he will, patience people we are winning. DD
He's automatic on those short jumpers. It's not a talent issue. 3pt shots just require more strength. He's having to run the offense - he doesn't get to just hand the ball off and sit on the baseline like Amen. He's also constantly having to battle on defense as opponents hunt him. He needs to add 10lbs of muscle to do all of that and remain steady on those long shots. This is the rookie wall. They are playing a lot of games in a relatively short period. Here comes another back-to-back. Kid needs a break and he'll get one soon.
He's shooting like 16 percent from 3 over the last 6 games. That's on pretty high volume for his minutes played. I mean, Amen shoots better than that! Whatever the issue is he better figure it out soon or Udoka will park his ass on the bench for life.
