In movies/tv this is the corollary to the giant breakfast spread that the husband doesn't touch because he's in a hurry. 2 people meet at the bar for a drink, after a minute of conversation 1 leaves with 3/4 of their drink sitting on the bar
Political ads and slot game commercials. I'm not sure which are worse. While we're on that, the sports media selling out to all the sports gambling sites. They are normalizing gambling addictions and making them sound fun.
People. but specifically, today, drivers with their phone in their hand totally disregarding the law. I am a Karen. I will point out to the cops that you’re driving recklessly. I was walking back from lunch and this jackassis just staring at his screen. Nearly hits me turning left through a red as I’m crossing the street in front of the Governors mansion on 10th if you live in ATX or know Austin. Then does it again on the next street. As I walked past a cop car, I knocked on his door and said “easy ticket for you in that black truck.” I hope he gets life.
People are so addicted to their phones, it annoys me when I am at a light, the light turns green and then after 3-4 seconds I have to honk at you and then half of us can't get through the light because you can't get off your GD phone................I am not on social media beyond Linkden and that's even becoming a cesspool of political BS so I don't get why you can't even stay off if it at a GD red light.
I can barely make a bowl of cereal for breakfast, so when I see someone make a huge breakfast only to have the recipient take a piece of toast annoys the hell out of me, how RUDE. Also, on TV, no one ever says GOODBYE after a phone call
People who pull up through a parking space to face out in the adjacent parking space, but not far enough so their rear bumper is sticking out into the 'vacant' space. Not only does that preclude larger vehicles from parking there, it 'hides' the car in question from people looking for a spot. Assholes.
In real life that 75% of breakfast left is going in my fridge and getting reheated for the next morning...
People who avoid politics hoping things will go away, instead of actively working to make it go away. DD
I am sure the technique of ridicule and condemnation is really going to make things “actively go away.” I’m sure it has really convinced people to see things your way.
Two days a week I work in an open-office concept with cubes for privacy. It drives me nuts when people talk so loudly you can hear them from the parking lot. They're 50 feet away but I know all about how little Betty Sue threw up this morning...
