Bari and Tari were real nice for us….. quick let’s trade both of them for Andrew Wiggins that’ll make us champs!

Yes… you really don’t?? OKC may be the only team truly better than a healthy Mavs team. They’re ridiculously deep, well rounded, play hard, and with a healthy Kyrie and AD they would have been a true contender.

Kuper Feg goes off for 34 (right Tim Legler :D)
Williams abused Reed until Reed pulled a PatBev & took him out
    Christie did not go off
Street Clothes was seen laughing somewhere

the Mavs are a .500 with team with AD…I don’t see how adding a soon to be 34 y/o Kyrie catapults them to 2nd best team in the NBA…Kyrie has nowhere near that level of impact

Cooper is playing much, much better now than he did at the beginning of the season. Also they’ve had other big injuries also. Fully healthy Mavs team is super deep.

Re: Flagg dropping 34 on us, he is a future All-NBA player, and he dropped 49 points on Charlotte a couple of nights ago. Clearly on a hot streak and figuring things out. A lot of those buckets were high difficulty, and it took him 25 shots to get there. I'm not too worried about that

My biggest concern down the stretch and into the playoffs is whether Reed is ready to be relied upon. He's shooting 17% from three the last five games. That's not going to cut it for a team trying to be even a dark horse contender. Going to need a little bit more consistency from him.

Big difference between those 2, IMO. Tari, much as I admire his hustle, is a scatterbrain. His decision making is so bad I want to close my eyes every time he leads a fast break. Josh is offensively limited but always plays within his limits and always makes a smart decision. And his defense is better than anybody's on this team, with the exception of Amen (and that's only because of Amen's on-ball talent). His anticipation, judgment, versatility, skill, and teamwork at that end of the court are elite. He's not one of the many A-level defenders you can easily acquire. He's an A+ defender.

    A lot of truth here.

But, I think it would be difficult for the rest of this roster to beat a good team in a 7 game series without Tari involved and playing well in a majority of those games. In other words, I completely agree with your assessment of Okogie and Tari’s variance, but we need to take a chance of Tari’s variance to capture his upside to beat the good teams. I’m not saying we can’t advance without it, but I think it is certainly a lower probability and less than 50/50 against OKC, SA and DEN.

Facts. If Tari could stay healthy I'd want to keep him but he can't. Jabari is a role player and a be valuable off the bench. I was hoping for Rashard Lewis or in a perfect world Rasheed Wallace but he's obviously neither. They're not paying Tari unless it's team friendly. We've got Adams expiring and draft capital. They can make a deal happen

Adams is not on an expiring deal, but we can still use him as trade fodder.

Will, agree 100% and nice to hear someone else mention Tari’s biggest deficiency, which is low basketball iq or scatterbrain as you called it. Needless harmful fouls at the worst times and ridiculously stupid turnovers and choking at the free throw line are my playoff memories of Eason. Okogie, in fairness, has not played in the playoffs and may raise his game like Jabrari did last year, but he’s not a spring chicken and has never come close to the 39% threes he’s hitting now and actually has a career average of 29%, and also a career average on free throws of about 60% so we need to taper down the excitement in my opinion for the games that mean something. He is a special A+ defensive player and always has been, but that’s about it. Still is a necessary backup for when we hopefully trade Tari at the deadline if that stiff Stone can finally make his first ever relevant deadline deal.

I said Jabari for Wiggins straight up. It would give us a much higher chance at winning a chip.

You just threw Tari in to purposely be insincere and try to dunk on me.

    Enjoy the win, Go Rockets.

Tari wants 4 years 100. Hell no not happening.

they will screw this up somehow. I don’t trust our gm lawyer.
