In all honesty, he should probably sit for a bit and heal up. All he's going to do carrying on regardless is risked hurting it further and causing his game to continually struggle. Healthy Sengun is a LOT more valuable to us than one with a flat tire.

I mean, do you not think Sengun is playing through injury? He literally stated a couple games ago that the swelling is finally going down, and then he tweaked it last game.

He did what franchise players do. Even having a sub par game for his standards, in crunch time he got the ball made the go ahead bucket. Plenty of stars and your favorite players have had bad nights like this. Good thing is we won.

KD was just as bad where is the negativity around him.

if last night’s game is doing what franchise players do, the bar is so low it’s in the Mariana Trench

I’m sure that ankle isn’t 100% but it must not’ve been 100% for at least 2 years now.

    Ime’s fault he hasn’t made a layup/bunny in 2 years
Ime’s fault he stinks on defense
Ime’s fault he throws his hands up after every play
Ime’s fault he can’t make a free throw
Ime’s fault Reed is a traffic cone
Ime’s fault Amen has no J

Ime gets it, Reed gets it, Jabari gets it, Amen gets it, Tari gets it, Jalen got it, Harden got it. LOL I don’t care who your favorite player is.

Franchise players get the accolades & recognition when it goes well. (Like, he may get named an all-star today!) And when it doesn’t or when they do poorly, they get the blame.

Like he is the franchise player, best (young) player and you fight when someone says he isn’t, right? Ohhhh, only praise him! But pass the buck.

Reed fans say Ime is holding him back
Sengun fans say Ime is holding him back
Amen fans say Ime is holding him back
Jabari fans say Ime is holding him back
Jalen fans said Ime is holding him back
Real Tari probably thinks Ime is holding him back

Damn, he’s holding all these guys back while winning 50 games with them.

The excuses for Sengun never stop. His play style is the same whether he’s hurt or not. He has bad hands, he flops, he’s misses too many layups and he can’t shoot for ****. He’s not the Franchise player. He’s someone that needs to be traded for a perimeter player with Star potential.

So you think our offense is crap because the players are and most other coaches in the nba would have a similar crappy offense with this roster?

are you saying that none of the guys drafted thriving offensively has nothing to do with Silas and İme?

I think there is insane level of talent in this team compared to most other teams but they are playing way below the talent level and not improving the players because of coaching. It would have looked better if fvv was not injured but they would still be hard capped in terms of success because of coaching. Dude cannot counter any move by opposing coaches, his most used plays are inefficient isos, rotations are bad, even the challenges in the first half for no reason are idiotic. He is the Jabari of coaches offensively, no creativity or freedom to players. The team is stiff as hell.

Sengun must have the 1st ever grade 10 ankle sprain the way his fanbois milk that excuse…surprised he’s not being booked for emergency surgery

Ime and all his teammates’ fault he blows a ton of layups, can’t shoot, and has made no real improvement in his game going on several years now

Ime’s garbage offense has him getting layups point blank right at the rim…clank, and then scream and cry for the foul after flopping

Everyone is playing through injury at this point of the season. Its not an excuse. Reed had a massive ice pack on his knee/leg last game, Amen has it on his shoulder....no one gets a pass.

I'm not doing this Jalen thing again with another player. Is his ankle stopping him from making free throws?

There obviously is a massive difference between playing through pain and playing through an injury. If you don't understand the difference, I'm not really sure what to tell you. Sengun is clearly playing through more than just "pain."

And yes, an injury to an ankle can impact everything, including free throws. If you have a weak ankle, it impacts the fluidity of your form. That much should be clear.

The two players that need the most rest will probably participate in the all star game.

Sengun fans when his direct opponent is a toothpick and he shoots 15/17 in the restricted area: superstar

Sengun fans when he goes 6/20: he’s injured.

Injured or not injured, ime with a terrible offensive system or not, lack of shooters or not doesnt change the fact that Sengun hasnt improved his game in 3 years.

For all the **** Jalen got for not improving his offense it was at least clear he was improving defensively. Idk what Sengun has improved at if anything.

He's been the same exact player for 3 yrs now. Really disappointing that he hasn't shown any continued growth.

he needs to be fired for making Sengun miss layups at the rim and giving the rim a beating with his jump shot…he needs to be fired for not giving in every time Sengun twirls his finger for a challenge after a missed layup after the flop…he needs to be fired for holding the almighty “Senhub” back from being the Jokic he was always destined to be

Sengun’s teammates need to be traded for holding back franchise player™️

Sengun is OK, y'all. One of the best #2s in the NBA, if not the best. Still young.

I said it in the summer when after the Euros some expected him to make a "leap", that this was never realistic. he's got limitations, whether he figures out ways to overcome them and jump into All-NBA territory is to be seen. May take years. For now is a quite decent #2 on the team.
