So you're saying, the inept Udoka has made Sengun worse? Just like he has with Reed? I mean we all know this, some are more forthcoming in admitting it than others on Clutchfans. Like @J.R. who bends over backwards trying to hate Sengun but just ignores every other Rocket doing the exact same thing. I'd love Sengun to play against the Rockets with a competent coach. It'd be f'cking hilarious watching him bend the team over.
I keep saying we should be trying to swindle Sengun for Sabonis + kings 2026 1st but people act like I’m crazy acting like Sengun is worth 4 1st. I don’t think you’d even notice the difference with Sabonis on this team
yea Ime is the reason why Sengun is missing bunnies and Reed can't shoot while playing horrendous defense. Ime is at fault for a lot of things but Sengun losing his touch isn't one of them. You can make a case for Reed but he has to be better as well.
Because Sabonis 2.0 and his 30% from downtown on a measly 2 attempts per game is such a floor spacer LMAO Stupidity is not wanting to trade a borderline all-star for a hall of famer/MVP entering his late prime.
lol “entering his late prime.” Dude is starting to miss a lot of time and is the exact type of player whose effective will fall off a cliff once he starts losing his athleticism.
Yeah, he had a bad month of January in 2026, after hurting and tweaking his ankle. Definitely having a slump. So what? By far the worst he has played as a Rocket, and still he has averaged 18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1 block per game, all the while shooting 53FG%. Yeah, I'm not trading that for soon-to-be-ruptured-achilles Giannis who has not managed to bring his team out of the 1st round the last 3 years in the Leastern conference. Not for the large amount of assets that it will take, which will not be just Sengun, matching money player and a pick or two. That will be like trading for Westbrook at best, right before he declined, or like when the Clippers traded Shai for Paul George if Sengun puts it all together in Milwaukee.
I love the Sabonis 2.0 crowd, who can't comprehend that Sengun is already better than Sabonis will ever be. But why let that fact get in the way of a cool gotcha post hahah. Better luck next time (try not to be so stupid next time too)
A horrid game from Sengun. Commented in the game thread, but it's almost like, what was predicted last season that might be on the horizon, might actually be rearing its head. The team was so worried about Jalen's confidence, they were fine sh*tting all over Sengun's. No matter how often he put the team on his back, no matter how many times they fed him he delivered, infinitely more than Jalen did. You had a guy who was a beast down low. Now he's spent so long doing nothing but playing on the perimeter he now second guesses himself half the time when he actually gets put in the post. Who could've possibly seen this coming. Oh, wait.
I seriously wonder if any player will bloom offensively under İme, like any player ever? Dude is constipated on offense. And people blaming here individual players.
when did we ever see Senhub or any real offensive system under İme for god’s sake? But you keep preaching İme and dropping here after bad Sengun games. Don’t be baby wiz man, not a good road to die on.
Baby wiz man? What’s that mean? I’m not trying to hear about an offensive system when Sengun is smoking layups right at the rim time and time again and is in year 5 with still no semblance of a jump shot dude is even shooting a career low at the free throw line… that’s what y’all want to make a “hub” there is always a million and one excuses for Sengun
He is literally the only player on the team that causes healthy ball movement. You can pound on a player when he has a bad stretch all you want, but if you don’t think some sort of using Sengun’s passing as a main ingredient is the best option on offense, you better come up with some concrete idea. there is no excuse for Sengun for missing too many shots. He is missing shots he should make. It is more like you always have an excuse not to give the credit when it is due and only show up when he has a rough game and highlight the bad areas. And you can make the same criticism for every player in the roster. Jabari can’t dribble, Amen can’t shoot etc. The offense is not working, not at all. It is a coaching problem, very obviously. at some point you’ll have to come to terms with the fact that İme is quite mediocre. Hopefully you’ll not see the players thrive elsewhere under a different coach because this is a very talented roster. İme is just riding the talent.
Been a huge Sengun supporter but the fact that the jump shot hasn’t improved in 5 seasons straight pisses me off. Need more from Alpi in yr 5. Not good enough. Not all-star caliber. Looking for a much better 2nd half of the season.
“Senhub” is just a different version of sh*tty offense Jabari gets crapped on 24/7 on here…Amen gets crapped on all the time too but when it comes to Sengun, now it’s a problem… even tho Sengun is the “franchise player” Jabari and Amen don’t have countless lame excuses made for them if it’s not Sengun not having any legs on offense because he’s playing so much defense, it’s *insert teammate, the coach, the refs, double teams, an ankle, or my favorite lame excuse of him being dead tired because he played freaking Eurobasket…mind you, that excuse was being made in early January so Eurobasket is enough for 23 y/o Sengun to be fatigued barely 3 months into the season…
Yeah, all these crazy sengun only fans making crazy excuses, like playing through injury affecting his play or coaching, which almost literally everyone complains about and there is something wrong with you if you are not. Other stupid excuses you mentioned, their stupidity is their problem. If one is crapping on Amen or Jabari constantly without any other content, that's a problem too. That's what you're doing. Some people having stupid excuses doesn't justify that. If that's the level you want to live on, good luck there. For the franchise player, the rockets have Amen and Sengun as their main pieces now, and no one close to them. They are far from perfect but they are very young and promising.
Well, I'd say the 24/7 "crapping on" - in your fine parlance - of our young guys is a problem considering, you know, the Rockets are 30-17 and each of those guys are 23 and under and having pretty darn good seasons. Amen is putting up substantial career highs in points and assists. Bari's scoring a career high. Sengun very well may make the All Star team today. It's so funny to me how many alleged "fans" on here get the most upset at posters who commit the horrible crime of actually defending our players.
