And another thing that annoys me about his play? The way he boxes out by turning to the opponent, so he has no clue where the ball is coming off the rim. Good rebounders have a feel for where the opponent is, don’t need to turn to them like they are having a conversation about their families.
It follows his offense and how many fouls he has (he had 4 fouls in the 4th). When he’s down on himself due to offense, the aggressive defense and going for blocks goes.

Sengun is KAT level soft to me What are the chances he surpasses KAT level as a big man? KAT is considered a “star” by some people, and he’s made some All-Star games…he also puts up nice numbers…but he’s ultimately not that guy thank God we weren’t one of those dumb organizations that gives players like Sengun a max contract…I’ll give Stone credit for that
I still think Sengun is a really good player. One of the top centers, but defense isn’t really his thing and I just don’t think this team fits him well. He’d do better with the right setup, like a strong point guard or big-time sg next to him, and a defensive pf to help clean things up.
That ankle… I heard from the ESPN broadcasters that Sengun was still not quite himself until just recently. Then he tweaked that ankle in the 2nd half. It might have contributed to his poor offense and defense over the past few weeks, and to his nonexistent defense in the 2nd half last night.
We saw the moment he re-tweaked the ankle, it was mid 4th quarter. His shooting and defense were poor prior to that.
Ime should be fired for his handling of Sengun's injury. He was pissed at Sengun whwn he came up lame and didnt even want to pull him. He goes to the locker and gets it wrapped and comes back in. I could see him playing throught it in the playoffs, but it is criminal in the regular season. The whole Macho crap thing with Ime is getting old and you can tell by the body language the players are getting fed up as well. All the extensions Stone dealt out have been a failure.
Probably when he spends 99% of the time on the perimeter and is so shocked when he touches it inside hahahahah.

Stop comparing him to Joker would be a good start to neutralize ridiculous expectations for dude ... It'll also keep from having these emotional ass meltdowns from his fan club when he has these garbage playing nights like he has lately ..
