Not so sure that's the case for the other local journalist who was also arrested and doesn't have Lemon's money. The real issue is the precedent this sets for all journalists. Three levels of judges refused the warrant - magistrate, district court, and the 8th Circuit. That's not about celebrity or lawyers, that's about the case having no merit. DHS was created to protect the U.S. from another terrorist attacks after 9/11. Who would have imagined it would become an organization that terrorizes the local U.S. population? This is why rights are important to protect. Allowing the state to violate rights against people you don't like opens the door for them to come after you one day.

My opinion of him doesn't matter and has nothing to do with the first amendment. It seems like if you have a personal dislike of someone, then you don't care about the issues of the constitution. And you seem particularly triggered when people mention racial injustice. I already said that I don't like Don Lemon's shows that I've seen and he seems shallow in his stories. I haven't seen that many of them. Mostly I couldn't care less about his stuff.
