    I found out that this was 100% a false rumor. Rockets and Cavs have had zero talks about Lonzo. They have had talks about Darius Garland. We are actually closer to a deal for Garland than White. Problem is that Cleveland has turned their season around and are not as anxious as a couple weeks ago to make a move.

    Garland on a max deal. It would take a lot to get him. We’d have to include 3 players at least to salary match since we’re at the 2nd level.

    Rockets ain’t about to give up 3 key pieces for Garland

    Lonzo isn't the target. Just a contract.

    Any deal with the Cavs has to have Craig porter Jr (FVV clone) incoming.

    LaMelo's value on his current contract is basically nothing. Neutral at best, but probably "pay me to take him"

    I think there's a decent chance he's fine in the second half. His FG% is heavily impacted by his 3PT%. Is it really that crazy is a guy with that much rust on his body takes half a season to get his legs and his form back to NBA level? I think he could hit 36% of his 3's in the second half and that would lift his overall FG% enough.

    The problem is why on earth would we want to take on a reclamation project at a position of immediate need? We don't need to be doing this. Just get Alvarado or someone who can slide in and help right now as a backup PG.

    I really think CP3 as player-mentor, on court coach and backup PG would be perfect for us. We can even use a little bit of his over competitiveness on the roster.
