    No concern about American lives in your frequently supported wars. Chickenhawks going to chickenhawk.

    Still no answer to how does Iran threaten the United states to the point where we should risk American lives and spend many billions that could be used to help Americans at home.

    Conflicting Ideologies aside, Iran is too weak to be left alone (see India or Turkey) while at the same time is too influential to be left alone (see Myanmar or Haiti) by the Great Powers (US/EU/Russia/PRC).

    Iran is a threat to Israel. Israel is a threat to Iran.



    From real politik perspective, knocking out Iran hurts China.

    My favorite conspiracy theory from yesterday is that the drop of Epstein files that were released making Trump and the rest look like pedophile cannibals was the Israelis sending a message to Trump for not attacking Iran already.

    Masoud Pezeshkian is dangerous for being a very decent person, highly educated, a reformer who aim to reconcile with the citizens of Iran and neighboring countries by correcting previous governments brutal mistakes

    Iran did not issue threat to blow up Jabal Ali and AbuDhabi yet, but if they do, a complete 180 turn is expected

    for all the perception of Trump as some sort of loose cannon, he's been remarkably deliberate about how and when he commits American forces to action.

    It's notable that they went in to Venezuela, got Maduro, and left. no boots, no occupation, no rebuilding the china shop.

    I expect that's probably what he wants to do in Iran too, but if he can't, then he won't commit to any action.

    But it's either 0 or 100 for this conflict. And I still expect 100.
