It is 1-8 protected though, good chance it does not fall to OKC. Also OKC does not need 4 1st round picks, they have enough worries to deal with 3 FRPs.
Come to think of it, guys like Karim Lopez, Dash Daniels, Michael Ruzic and Faye, they can all be stashed.
The Houston one is currently at 26th, it is subjective if that is mediocre or good. Presti can strike gold or it can turn out pedestrian. The Draft class is very good but it does not mean there are no underachievers.
Sengun is going to be good in few years. I just pass, maybe 5-6 years ago. Can people not see Giannis Window is closing, he cant lead a team anymore, he got his 1 championship. Look at the years, he would need another younger star, and Amen and him probably wont fit. Big no for me! Rockets morgaging there future for quick blowup in COUPLE years when okc exposes them because of there lack of depth w/ Giannis and Durant, and both are getting way toO old to match athleticism side of OKC.
Random bidding war will never be the time. It’ll be time when Giannis says he wants to be traded to Houston. When/if that happens, Sengun and Tari wouldn’t be the first names brought up.
I don’t see how this trade makes us any more contenders that what we currently already are. Is Giannis an upgrade over Sengun yes but getting him isn’t going to fix any of our problems though. We’ll still lack a PG, still have horrible spacing, and depth will be even worse than what it is now since we would be trading away Tari. Unless the plan is to get Giannis to already have him for next season to make a legit run, I can’t see us being any better than OKC, Denver, or SA
Yeap, we would be basically punting this season, losing major assets for declining and soon-to-be-popping-his-achilles Giannis for the hope that next year oft-injured Giannis and 38 year old Durant can take us places with less pieces around them.
So you're looking at: PG - Amen Thompson / Josh Okogie SG - Kevin Durant / Reed Sheppard / Aaron Holiday SF - Lauri Markkanen / Brice Sensabaug PF - Giannis Antetokounmpo / Jae'Sean Tate ..C - Walker Kessler / Clint Capela I could see that lineup doing some serious damage in the playoffs.
Salaries doesn't matchup...have to wait until offseason to make a trade for Giannis Sengun/Jabari salaries matches Giannis
Sorry, just do not see the Jazz playing along and helping an arch nemesis...... Alperen is clearly going to Milwaukee. Kessler and Sensabaugh are semi corner stones for them. Utah are only parting with guys like Collier, Love, Slomo Kyle Anderson. Markkanen is a stretch too as he should be available but seems to be a fan favorite over there.

Good question. Some people worry that if we trade multiple players for him, we won't have enough players to fill our roster. So, yeah, it comes with the Greek bros.
