    How was Pretti not arrested earlier for this?

    Political beliefs are never a reason to be at odds with family.

    It’s important to note on here that in no way shape or form is it ok, to ruin a family related relationship over political beliefs.

    If you have a family member who will be at odds over it, it’s recommended to become as neutral as possible and just let them know you understand.

    one day you will look back and realize that family ended up being more important than any house, car, material item or your ego in general.

    Makes you think it’s AI. I’m open for believing it is, because that part actually doesn’t make sense.

    Absolutely and that's pretty much the dynamic - the daughter most liberal feels that way - It's crazy that we are so similar. We have so many things in common other than politics and as she has grown- our relationship has been even better - In fact, if it wasn't for all this ice and crazy weather in Nashville, I would be heading over this weekend to check out her new apartment that she got in the Gulch area - it's really nice based on the FaceTime videos

    my other daughter, It was never about politics, but she just completely changed after she met this guy who has businesses in multiple locations- and went to work with this guy she fell in love with- She will see us, but it's not often as she constantly is traveling to multiple states and I just wish it was more often. I think that is what hurts both my wife and myself the most- Because out of both daughters, I thought it would be the other way around if anything years ago. .. But it could always be worse...My wife's coworker lost her 4 yo child to a rare disease - How can anyone mentally get thru that - as long as she's happy she's living her life and I have to be OK with that -anything else is selfish on my part-

    sorry this is not D&D type stuff but that's exactly right. Family outshines all possessions or material stuff.

    Maybe if he was arrested for assault (spitting) and damaging property, clearly interfering in federal operations (another crime) things would be better - it's crazy someone got three years for throwing some water and nothing happened in this situation so he got emboldened of course- his spitting days are over.

    Two thoughts:

    -Either Ford Explorers are absolute trash or Pretti is the b*stard son of Chuck Norris with that roundhouse kick

    -I don't see any justification here for being murdered.

    Why do you believe that yelling at ICE agents in a Ford Explorer, and kicking their taillight is a death sentence? This also did not happen on the same day as his murder. So there should not be any direct correlation unless ICE is making decisions on which American Protestors to murder based on targeting US citizens... something I didn't think Customs and BORDER Protection federal agents were mandated to do.

    Screaming "assault me mother****er!" while carrying a gun and interfering with law enforcement operations. Who could have foreseen he might get shot?

    Nobody here is claiming it’s a death sentence.

    The only claims which are true is that Pretti was never a peaceful protestor.

    All I’ve read on here is moderate/conservatives explain his ass shouldn’t have been touching ice agents and stayed on the sidewalk. Because he wanted to be an absolute d******d he put his own self in a situation that led to a most likely unqualified ice agent emptying the clip in him. It’s sad what happened.

    The fact is. He ****ed around and found out the hard way.

    Apparently a large portion of this forum believe the ice agent should have gave him a hug and wished him a good day.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Two daughters here. I’m terrified of what decisions they make that could alter their future. Hoping for the best though :)

    Thank goodness Pretti did some things some people don't agree with. Now they can feel better about supporting those that murdered him. Guilty conscience problem solved.

    I say this without kidding and honestly just objectively:
    Staying aligned with Trump, over the last 50 years, has continually put his associates in difficult situations, often leading to incarceration (like his chief financial guy), great loss of reputation (Guiliani), loss of money (hundreds of contractors who tried to do business with him, or students at Trump university, etc), or some combo thereof (Guiliani, et multa alia).

    So yeah, carrying his regime's bilgewater in the killing of citizens is 100% similar.

    The Boston Massacre, known in Great Britain as the Incident on King Street,[1] was a confrontation, on March 5, 1770, during the American Revolution in Boston in what was then the colonial-era Province of Massachusetts Bay.

    In the confrontation, nine British soldiers shot several in a crowd, estimated between 300 and 400, who were harassing them verbally and throwing various projectiles. The event was subsequently described as "a massacre" by Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and other leading Patriots who later became central proponents of independence during the American Revolution and Revolutionary War.[2][3] British troops had been stationed in the Province of Massachusetts Bay since 1768 in order to support Crown-appointed officials and to enforce unpopular legislation implemented by the British Parliament.

    ====
    The Journal of Occurrences were an anonymous series of newspaper articles which chronicled the clashes between civilians and soldiers in Boston, feeding tensions with its sometimes exaggerated accounts, but those tensions rose markedly after Christopher Seider, "a young lad about eleven Years of Age", was killed by a customs employee on February 22, 1770.[15] Seider's death was covered in the Boston Gazette, and his funeral was described as one of the largest of the time in Boston. The killing and subsequent media coverage inflamed tensions, with groups of colonists looking for soldiers to harass, and soldiers also looking for confrontation.

    ====
    Journal of Occurrences
    Their articles primary focused on the many grievances held by Bostonians toward the military occupation, including its subversion of civil authority and alleged misbehavior by occupational troops. The Journal also criticized the impressment of colonial sailors into the Royal Navy.[5] Local customs officers were also portrayed in a negative light by the articles.[6] The authors of the articles claimed that what they wrote was "strictly fact", while British officials in Boston insisted that it was mostly fiction

    Interesting
