I agree that I wouldn’t do this trade if I am Chicago. I’m not Chicago, however lol. i would consider a first if it were down the line. How is Ayo’s defense?
They have Giddey, White, Jones, and Ayo all at point guard. All of those guys are good. DFS can actually help their defense and the picks make it sweeter. I think it'd be pretty good for them, actually.
The math on this one actually works out, leaving the Rockets $2,147,862 under the 1A after the trade, more than enough to fill the 14th roster spot in the buyout / FA market (and maybe the 15th too?). Just have to wonder who's going to get bought out? And damn, Schroder is a worse defender than Reed and not a very good floor spacer. He's also under contract for next season .... I don't know how I feel about Schroder, on one hand it gives the team that point guard skillset, on the other, he's not the best fit. Gun to my head I probably do it, if there's nothing else out there. Team needs a lead guard that bad. Edit: Also, I doubt Stone trades DFS, Ime talking about him earlier today .... essentially blowing him.
Got a wild one for you boys. Go get that lotto pick from the kings to help start retooling around Amen. Could give Coby an extension. Lavine off books next year & Sabonis / KD in 2028. I’m sure you’d have to dish some 2nd or a pick or two.
I think if you are taking on that much horrid money and giving up sengun/reed it needs to be a full draft. 4-5 firsts and all swaps.
I can understand your evaluation of Sengun but Reed? I'll never call.any player trash because it takes a lot to get to the NBA but Reed is not a quality player.
I mean he’s not a star yet or anything certainly, i think he will be. Right now he’s just good and i would have a really hard time trading him for something that isn’t premium. Would i trade him for the first pick in the draft? Probably. Am I trading him for pick 6? God no. I know you have to hate him though so i get your reasoning.
Amen Reed Markkanen KD Sengun -- Sensabaugh Okogie Clint Tate Holiday Davison . Bench is pretty ass but could be addressed in the offseason and you get Fred back next year. Does Utah do this though?
Yall You are hilarious. The rockets can’t send out 8 guys for 4. We wouldn’t have the money to field the minimum roster spots
trading him for a top 3 in this draft would be a slam dunk, but you'd have to add a lot of assets to get that done.
Is there anyone who’s projected to go high that can’t shoot? Maybe we could target that guy. Last college game i watched was to see embiid so i know less than nothing about college hoops.
Rockets trade : C- Adams - Next year bulls PG - FVV- Ready for next year. Value expiring. Rockets - 2027 Suns Pick Bulls trade : C - Zack Collins - Could be back after allstar break injured. PG - Coby White - Rockets need help now! FVV Replacement C/PF - Jalen Smith - Center help Needed Since the rockets are just getting Rentals, and temporary Help you be basicly getting Jalen Smith Bird rights. Bulls would be getting full year of Adams and FVV next year, plus that 2027 draft pick The only fair trade i see. They take money from this trade(Collins, White 30M) and i guess throw it at Eason and Amen. Salary dump trade, would FVV and Adams sign off thou to play for new upcoming East Team that needs vets?
lol I said it was wild and I'd say more of a off season move if they get a top 3 pick I do not think this team would be any worse than our team this year. Lavine(1yr), KD(2yr), and Sabonis(2yr) would all be off the books by 2028 and you could retool around a 25yr old Amen and lotto pick if we do not think Sengun or Reed are the future. Could offer Jokic a fat contract in 2028 when he becomes a FA Coby / lotto pick Lavine / Ayo KD / Tari Amen / Sabonis / Capela
Ime would never do this he wants atleast 3-4 Forwards on this team lol 10 if he possibly get Stone to do it
