I’m not a huge fan of Castle, he went full shrewd route instead of playing actual basketball. He used to be promising defensive guard but year in Spurs made him foul baiting every drive by tilting his head back when ever he feels contacts and mastered NBA carrying dribbling already which gives him extra step on his drive. Early in the season he was getting all the call by selling the foul but recently Refs caught that thus his efficiency dropped.
Fans love him because he holds his teammates accountable. His teammates hate him for the same reason. Can’t see KD signing off on that even though on paper it seems like they’d be a good fit.
I think at this point we can say Amen has legitimately improved his FT%. Don't know if he's 80% long term, but he's better than he was. It's a good sign for his shooting overall.
I was sort of stunned there wasn't a long review of that foul by Bari on Wemby. I was fearing they would say there was a windup since he ended up on the ground. Then again, he topples over 3 or 4 times a quarter. Can you bet on the number of spills Wemby will take in a game?
