    I agree, how many of our players got injured shortly after the 2023 WBC? It has been a whirlwind for several of the Astros that played in it. Framber and Abreu seem to be the only ones unaffected by it although you have to wonder if it is catching up with Framber.

    Take a two week all star break and play it then. Problem with the WBC is you get pitchers throwing like it’s the World Series and their arms aren’t ready yet

    Injuries like Altuve getting hit could happen in ST games, but the pitching just isn’t ready

    Theyre constantly stacked and still just paper tigers. Theyve won it once and never placed in any other year.

    After a season where the Astros roster was ridden stupid with injuries and re-injuries, the team should recommend that their players sit the WBC out. Especially Altuve. Surely any player would understand given Astros are trying to keep the championship window open.

    Honestly, I think the Astros should do something to assure there contract despite injury.

    Would be a nice gesture to guys that have given it all to the org.
