It still says something to only lose 3 games at home. We are a couple weeks away from all star break and that's half way in an 82 game season. Only 3 loses at home out of 44 games. Plus, It's been road heavy. Season is more than half way over.

Another great win. I don't take any game against anyone lightly. A big chance in the next game to bring the second-placed Spurs back to the same amount of losses that we have

    22 home games
    16 away to go

11 of the last 17 are at home. We soon get a batch of away games again.

It’s pretty much ruled out he’ll be out for the season. If he was close to returning he would be conditioning but unlike Karie and Tatum he is no where near what they’re doing and even Kyrie and Tatum might not even make it back

I dunno about this. Same for the similar, even more switchable, lineup that had Okogie instead of Jabari.

These lineups can work in short stretches against certain teams, like the Grizzlies. They would fail against seasoned, veteran lineups that have sure-handed guards.

I missed the game, but this report from CBS Sports makes me think I missed a good one:

Not bad tonight. A few observations:

Tari and DFS are really gonna pay dividends down the stretch of the season and playoffs. I believe DFS will get his shot back and the defense is already there. Tari’s shooting is for real. Both these guys are true 3&D capable of guarding multiple positions. Both are going to be high minute players on the post season.

Glad to see Sengun back looking healthy. Great game tonight.

Amen continues to look better every game in the lead on-ball role. He was getting our guys open looks tonight; unfortunately no one could knock down shots.

Okogie continues to impress me defensively. He’ll be a difference-maker in the playoffs.

Reed didn’t have it tonight, but I continue to be pleased with his improved handle. The shots will fall on Wednesday.

Bari continues to concern me. I honestly think DFS, Tari and Okogie should be getting more minutes than Bari given what he has shown this season. I hate to say it, but it’s obvious he’s the weak link in the rotation.

Turnovers continue to be an absolute killer. I don’t want to live with them. We just got to find a way to take better care of the ball.

I hope there’s some truth to the Iko reporting that we are looking to grab a center. Can’t count on Steveo this season and especially if we are gonna lean into Reed it would help to have a dependable rim protector. Upgrading on Clint woukd give us an edge.

Every lineup we have fails against seasoned, veteran lineups that have sure handed guards.

Jabari, KD, Sengun, Reed, or Steven Adams are 5 guys not stopping sure handed guards from getting wherever the hell they want to go. They can’t get close or it’s a blow by.

Can’t win playing with 3 or 4 of those level athletes at same time.

Amen can’t be the only athlete guarding everyone. It’s bad switches, getting out run down the court, scramble rotations, Amen chasing from behind. It’s just bad for the scoreboard not something you make up on the other end.

Need more Okogie, Tari, and DFS. Close your eyes when they have the ball if it helps.

I quoted the most sensible part of your post.

Seriously, I get what you're saying, but having four of those guys on the court at the same time would be too easy to defend for a team with brains (which the Grizzlies don't have).

Rockets getting a slight bit of separation from sub-5th and closer to SA-DEN... only 2 games back.
