For your second point , yes they should be able to ( even though you are likely using that term liberal liberally .. trump appointees and judges from longer ago have ruled against them ) . If a judge rules against you , the legal thing to do is appeal the order , not ignore it. just like you would encourage a person even if they thought they were being detained / arrested illegally to comply and then appeal through the process.

I almost think that those arguing the shooting is justified, aren't really arguing with anybody on these boards. They are arguing with their own eyes and realization that this is wrong. For whatever reason they aren't ready to accept that or what means in the larger scope of their world view regarding Trump, Republicans, whatever. It's something bigger and they hope that by arguing against others it will convince themselves. Very few people that watched that really believes lethal force was justified. The administration's lies about the victim only further confirmed their doubts. So by arguing with people here it helps them cling to their beliefs and world view. But it's paper thin.
