I have seen nothing up to this point showing the victim brandishing anything. Maybe you have seen something we have not. Nowadays lots of people legally carry firearms. So, even if he was carrying a firearm, it doesn’t mean he was threatening anyone with it. But, I don’t necessarily believe much coming from the Trump administration or ICE.

He literally didn't touch the gun. He was in the street directing trafic and filming ICE and like 4 of them came over and decided to **** with him as they so often do. The gun was a non-factor except for ICE looking for a post facto excuse for murdering him. Maybe one of the ICE goons hassling him got scared when they saw his totally legal to cary gun, got a taste of how ICE makes everybody else feel and shot him out of irrational fear. That's the only way the gun he was legaly carying could have been relevant.
It certainly seemed to be a nonfactor from the one video I've seen. Also, for those saying he was resisting... Maybe, but when you're getting beaten and pistol whipped by like 6 dudes, how would you handle it? I honestly have no idea...
If I were an illegal alien, or knew an illegal alien, I would think about getting the self deportation plans into motion.

Reminder: ICE has lied in court before. Take that into account when DHS makes public statements about this event. The video speaks for itself. 2A fans should be outraged. But if they immediately jump to defend ICE (or it's worth it because illegal), this is the logical end of "modern" 2A... that everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety in the street, but the government can murder you for having one. And with that, there are no more rights. It's unbelievable that deporting massive numbers of people with no criminal conviction is worth giving up 2A and all your rights.
That video shows they take his gun away before he is shot. I'm not sure what is happening with the other woman before he is wrestled to the ground, but people are saying he was trying to help her up. It just doesn't really look like that. That part is confusing to me.
