We were forced to double Embiid all night, while Alp was getting guarded by PG and Oubre. If you can’t admit he was soft and flat-out bad tonight, you seriously need your eyes checked.
As I said before, he should be traded. He doesn't believe his future is with this team, and he's mentally drained because of it. From now on, he'll just play like a box office clerk doing what he has to do. If it weren't for the All-Star games, i guess he wouldn't have played in these games either because of his injury.
Why did we lose? 1 ime Big gap 2 Jabari Decent gap 3 Sengun Seriously there is nothing to talk about this team other than İme. Can’t blame Jabari before getting a decent coach.
Everyone thinks they are the superstar on this team and chasing numbers now. Ime needs to reel that in and swallow his pride to let Reed play.
If KD had “only” 4 TOs we win that game. I know he did a lot otherwise but 5 TOs would have had any other player sitting on the bench the rest of the game…8 TOs in a game that goes to overtime shows we are deeply broken where we literally can’t afford to not have KD out there otherwise…which is sad because Alpi is supposed to be an all star player….
I know Alpi said he’s fine playing on the ankle but our team defense absolutely is NOT fine w him playing on that ankle. His defense since his return is the worst I’ve seen from him in years. It’s absolutely part of our defensive regression.
Sengun still show amazing talent when he was year or two in the league and showed clear improvement in the Euro league. I would definitely replace Udoka before moving away from Sengun and Jabari
I I’ve come to the point of questioning green’s lack of development, Silas and udoka? No wonder an offensive player who needed guidance failed miserably.
Kd 8 tos is essentially an ime problem. If you give him that role with that many minutes, 4 tos would be a good game for him. It is not like Jabari going 1 for 10 3s or Sengun 2 for 7 fts.
One of the laziest guys at getting back on D....just loses the ball and stands there....ridiculous. DD
We have some Turkish speaker fans here. Did anybody notice Alpi cursing at Ime in Turkish at the beginning of the 4th? Or have I misread what he was saying? It was over the play when he switched on Cade and fouled him at the rim. It's a rather strong curse that could start a fight depending on the context. My interpretation is that there is a disagreement on what's being discussed - defensive coverage. Alpi' curse could mean stfu, freaking hell, get of my ass in this context. Precise translation is not that friendly. Not 100% sure as I'm not a lip reader.
