Reed Sheppard I think will sell tickets. Box office for sure. Reed Sheppard should be Starting. The amount of fans getting up from their seats (Never happens with any other player) when Reed Sheppard shoots threes. The amount of female fans Reed Sheppard has is impressive.
You know the trade market is going well for the Rockets when the discussions involve Reed Sheppards looks and. a Butler trade that didn’t happen in 2019.

If they are entertaining a trade of Reed to Sac it will involve their 26 FRP and Monk. Tari would have to included as well as another player to make the money work. I don’t think it will happen, but if Sac offered their FRP unprotected and Monk, it should be an automatic yes.
I want to dip into 2026 more than anything. But is it wise to trade a player who has flashed star potential and is only 21 for an uncertain draft pick? I’m not so sure. If we knew for sure it would be a top 3 or 4 pick I agree it’s an automatic yes. But the lotto odds are now so flat, you can’t have a ton of confidence that even the worst team gets a top 4 pick. Just look what happened to Washington last draft.
This is true. I do think the Rockets may covet Monk, but I don’t see how they get it done without including Reed. Maybe if they are willing to include the 27 Phoenix pick with Tari and Adams? It would definitely be a win now move and DFS would really have to step up.
Sacramento would not trade its pick for Reed. If the Rockets want the Sacramento pick, the Rockets would have to deal Amen. However, the Rockets would reject trading Amen as fast as Sacramento rejects Reed for their pick.
I think you are correct. Sac has done some really stupid things in the past few years, but I don’t even know if they have the same FO.
