The only problem with defensive minded head coach is the offense will constantly be an issue whether the offense is good or not. Poaching or constant firing. Feels like it’s easier to get a great defense with an offensive coach than the other way around.
Please excuse my language... they better Mfn not Insanity = doing the same thing over again & expecting different results
" … Jake Andrews gave us good level of play. Played on one leg half the year." I don't like him putting out excuses for his Patriots reject center - it he's hurt, don't play him.
I hope that's a lie, because if they "never" talked about the offense being a concern then I question Nick and Demeco`s being able to evaluate the situation. We absolutely sucked in the red zone, our O Line did get better, oh boy now there average. The O Line was held together by duct tape, no one could step up if Nico was gone and we have a good #2 RB in Marks but no bell cow.......................but its all good, lets just run it back This pisses me off, you have a team like the Chargers going to get McDaniel's to bolster the offense and were going to run back a first-year play caller.............what a dam joke, NO ONE who watched this team all year can think we have some type of elite offensive scheme
So you sign a guy coming off a torn meniscus who is forced to play hurt because you don’t have a good enough backup…got it.
TBF McDaniel (& wife) wanted to be back in Kali (they met out there when... checks notes... Coach Cocaine was with a team in Sacramento)
Mac Jones you are a Houston Texans. Calling it now. Before draft night we are trading CJ to Philly for AJ Brown, pick swaps and some day 2s. Maybe even a three way trade with Philly sending Jalen Hurts somewhere. Demeco wants a game manager and not some mentally fragile mopey b$tch who keeps harping on his days at Ohio St. Plus he gets to keep his D guys paid and happy.
What does your post have to do with Mac Jones? He turns the ball over more than CJ at 2.7% to 1.7% rate. Mac has 6 pick 6s to CJ's zero in regular season.
It was obvious from the start. DeMeco's focus was solely on the defense. They're just using coach speak to buy time. They know they screwed up and now have a real mess on their hands fixing this offense and resurrecting CJ (if that's possible).
"Demeco wants a game manager" Was responding to this... Mav isn't one. He doesnt protect the ball more. Also, is Demeco a Patriots Way guy?
