They lived in a neighborhood. How many other home owners came out onto their lawns toting assault rifles?

Did any protestor even step foot on their property?

How many of their neighbors were physically harmed by protestors?

If they were afraid of the protestors they could have just stayed inside their homes and they would be anonymous today just like all their neighbors are.

 

I personally wouldn’t, would call the cops.

I don't really know how to think about the ethicality of prosecution here, in a scenario were multiple people where killed in public with the details and reasonings being unclear/controversial it's probably a good idea for there to be a trial.

I'm not really trying to answer an endless string of questions and go into the details on particular trials. Just made my original comment in this thread as a reminder, there are a lot of normal, ethical and reasonable people who just want the best for their family/country, that have different or opposing political views.

Lumping together everybody on the opposing side as purely evil and r****ded after going through the worst curated news you can see on social media is not the most rational way to view this world or country, IMO.
